Saurashtra Alphabet

The Saurashtra Alphabet is used to write the Saurashtra language, spoken by the Saurashtrian community mainly in southern India, particularly in Tamil Nadu. The language has its roots in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, but over time, the people migrated south and continued preserving their language and script. The Saurashtra script developed from the Brahmi family of scripts and has similarities with both Devanagari and Telugu.
